1.5 Items within a batch shall face one direction with the MICR code line at the bottom
1.6 Items within a batch can be in any order other than the Batch Header must be the first item in the
batch1.1.8 The rear of the items of the batch should not be stamped in the upper half area
1.1.9 Batches should contain either all debit items or all credit items
1.1.10 Items within the batch must not be stamped at the rear in the space allocated for ECH endorsement.

1.7 Batches must be balanced with the Batch Header totals in terms of item count and total value
