On each transformer in-feed an overcurrent protection with time delay is con­
nected in the differential mode (51.0.) to a CT in the in-feed and a further CT in the
bus section coupler. It serves as busbar protection and back-up protection for faults
in the outgoing feeders, and trips the associated in-feed circuit breaker and section
coupler breaker. For example for the fault shown on feeder F3 in Figure 3.24,
