Como dice Rosa, Flame es un programa de postproducción. Sin embargo, a mi entender, en el texto se nombran los cargos que tuvo/tiene, como director, cofundador, etc., no sus conocimientos.
Para mí, se refiere es que esta persona fue/es máximo responsable en el uso de este programa en una postproducción. (En internet se distingue entre "Flame artist," "assistant Flame artist," "lead Flame artist," etc.)
Otra opción podría ser "encargado principal de Flame", entre otras.
