Dat kan, als de manie van concurreren verandert door een betere conjunctuur. Veel voorkomend: prijsconcurrentie (Laagconjunctuur) vs concurrentie op kwaliteit bij hoogconjunctuur.

: Klopt wel: als de conjunctuur verbetert en de euro stijgt in waarde, dan daalt het concurrentievermogen van Europese bedrijven op de internationale markt.
