Albanian term

pret faturën

Albanian to English Bus/Financial Law: Taxation & Customs
I have an invoice from Kosova which ends like this:
Emri dhe titulli i personit qe pret faturen

I suppose that "pret" means "receives", but I would like to have your confirmation, since I don't understand why the name and title are important in this context.

The form of the invoice is almost exactly what I found here, at page 3:

(this is the third time I try to send this question - my apologies if you received all three of them)

issues invoice

This is someone that issues an invoice and not that receives it.

agree Ledja : To clarify things for larserik, the "background" of the word "pret" in this case is in reference to "cut" - literally, cut off the cheque from the stub (the part kept in the cheque book for the issuer's records) That's why we also say "pres biletat" :)
