Yes, it's a bit like a ouija board, isn't it? Same sort of weird shared experience.

@ Tony TK & Phil :-) Believe me - unless you have a thing about strings (i.e. Schnüre) + Pencils, it's not all that exciting!
TonyTK Apr 25, 2015:
Same here, Phil. Maybe men aren't allowed to see it.

Is it just me Who can't find the link and doesn't know what is happening here?

group drawing with pull-strings

I think some kind of compound description is the best solution for this rather than a word or two. There is the possibility of inadvertently referencing other forms of string art with a non-descriptive translation. Other forms of string art are, for example, pulled string art in which one end of the string is dipped in paint and then pulled across the paper. And string art can also be a type of weaving. Pins or nails are set up to create a dedign or pattern between them with string.

string pullers

both terms are shadowy ... i.e. someone pulling the strings, here just literally. It's clear when you see the pic.

danke, stimmt, mit Bindestrich
neutral Stephen Reader : "mit e-m Strp-z. ... zeichnen" suggests the string composite is defined as a *tool* - if so, *not a ref. to a person*. Cd still be called a 'string puller' conceivably. Backgrd message sugg'd = (?) '[learn] who's driving the bus?' for teams

pull-strings, string-pull

... as alternative to 'string-puller' (tho' the allusion to 'we're all string-pullers here together... creating a synthesis...' is clear): approximations to the 'tool', 'device' feel of the thing in this social-/ teamwork-learning games context, imagine "Get the / So, folks, it's time for the pull-strings [device]"...
