Spanish term

fondos de las Feroe

Spanish to English Tech/Engineering Ships, Sailing, Maritime Fisheries / Fishing equip
SPAIN. Ridiculous (or non-pro?) as it may seem, I can't find the "official" way to render "fondos" in this context. I know it means seabed, but I'd usually just translate it as "waters". Knowledgeable help/reassurance required.

Discussion

Certainly not Non-Pro Hi Neil! took me a while to find this one... so I would certainly say not a silly question ;)

Hope the "good" answer helps.
fishing?
