Detecting custom instructions is accomplished through extending the instruction memory and adding a flag bit and the corresponding address of custom instruction in the configuration memory assigned to each instruction. In every cycle, when an instruction is fetched, the flag bit is checked indicating the possibility of executing the next instructions on RFU. Then according to the address read from instruction memory, one of the configurations (custom instructions) is selected and activated.
