Idiom
I was looking up this idiom to award marks for the best answer & this answer appeared in the 'negative(!) dictionary.
I don't fully understand the meaning of this entry & why the idiom is often used ironically. eksi sözlük. ironik olarak pek sık kullanılır. mesela birine sigara pakedi uzatılır alsın bi tane die (? What is this a typo for!), bi başkası gelir ve alır, pakedi uzatan da "rahat ol yaa" der.
It seems to mean 'if someone is offered a cigarette packet & if he takes one.....[die], he comes and takes another, & also says to the one who offered the packet 'like be cool'.
That makes a sort of sense but not enough.
I need help on the full meaning of this entry. Does the yaaa make it ironic?

be cool man
This sentence means, "If one offered to someone a cigarette packet if he takes one, but someone else comes and takes one, the one who offered the packet says "be cool man".
"go help yourself" is a more polite expression.
"go help yourself" is a more polite expression.
4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer.
Comment: "Tim is quite right: in this context it is used sarcastically. If I thought myself into the context, what would be the natural expression in English? I think we would use Gülnur's suggestion: 'ok, just help yourselfy, don't bother asking.' Thanks for all help given."

chillax
A newly coined word which might be just as casual as the Turkish version.

'Dude, chill...' might also be an option (note: male)

: I agree on this one... One might also just say 'chill' I guess.

take it easy, man/ hey, take it easy
Relax and some of the other suggestions like stay cool would be fine. But take it easy doesn't carry with it the association slangy and young that "chill" does for example.
Another would be " Hey, take it easy...."
Another would be " Hey, take it easy...."
4 hrs
cam down maaan!/calm down will you
Bir alternatif. Ama konuya ve tercümeye daha yakın.
