Polish term

odpowiedni (ze względu na wykonywane prace)

Discussion

... sub-contractors shall carry and maintain insurance appropriate to the role, function and duties for which they have been engaged ...
George BuLah (X) May 11, 2014:
Ty też jesteś u pani, Frank :P :D ...

Thanks! :)

Frank Szmulowicz, Ph. D. May 11, 2014:
Another idiom for you, Jacek: You cannot swing a dead cat around here without hitting a linguistic genius.
@Michał: great that you like "adequate." :)
George BuLah (X) May 11, 2014:
zobaczysz, będziesz u pani... za te koty ;))

George BuLah (X) May 11, 2014:
O, właśnie ! :)

mike23 May 11, 2014:
The Contractor must ensure that the (subcontractor's) sums insured are adequate for the work envisaged

suma ubezpieczenia
George BuLah (X) May 11, 2014:
kwota o d p o w i e d n i a "odpowiedni" nawet w tym kontekście, o gmatwającym interpretację kontekście prawniczym w ogóle już nie wspominając - jest imo niewłaściwe;
