Italian term

RioGalli

Italian to English Marketing Tourism & Travel Waterpark website
This is obviously a play on words - normally I would not specify the name of the Waterpark - but in this case it is important as it is actually a play on words using the name of the location - does it really need to be translated?

RIOGALLI
Rio Valli non è solamente giochi e divertimento sull'acqua. Nel 2013 abbiamo inserito come novità il "Rio Galli", dove tutte le sere potrete gustare uno squisito galletto alla brace. Questa nostra specialità è l'ideale per essere gustata in compagnia, non solo per una cena ma anche per feste di compleanno e qualsiasi altro tipo di ricorrenza.

Don't translate it.

Miriam's idea is clever, but it would only work if they actually had bilingual signs in that part of the park saying Rio Galli/Rio Grilly. This is (a) not very likely, and (b) confusing. I would leave it in Italian with a very brief explanation of the play on words.

Also, Valli/Galli is a very good pun in Italian because the two words are almost identical. Valli/Grilly is less effective, because they're quite different.

agree luskie : non solo, ma il gioco di parole ha 2 termini, rio valli e rio galli, e non si può certo tradurne 1 solo. e poi il gioco di parole è bruttino anche in italiano, suona più che altro come qualcosa di incredibilmente stupido, meglio limitare i danni!

RioCocky

Just a proposal. Even if 'galletto' is cockerel, cock may recall the cockerel the tourists will taste in the restaurant.

... or you could leave the Italian name and the rhyme is respected.
