A. Server hosting
Application and database servers are hosted by a professional hosting company. Servers are located in locked server rooms in a secured building. Access control to the building is achieved by electronic card readers only allowing employees of the company to enter the building.
The complete application incl. all components will be hosted by this hosting company.

a. Windows production servers
Remote Desktop access to the servers is done with VPN access. It is done through a server

The production servers can also be directly accessed through encrypted remote desktop from white-listed IP addresses to allow direct access for troubleshooting and maintenance within a controlled environment.
