French term

socle

French to English Bus/Financial IT (Information Technology) Tender document
I'm pretty sure this means some combination of software and hardware, but I am translating a tender document that contains rather more technical IT jargon than I had realised and this is decidedly not my specialist area!

XXXXXX a été mandaté pour mettre en place le référentiel de déploiement du socle bancaire. La méthodologie outillée décrit l’organisation, les différentes étapes du projet, ainsi que les relations entre les intervenants. Cette méthode capitalise les « bonnes pratiques » des projets antérieurs développés par notre client sur ce type de programme. Ce référentiel a été mis en place préalablement à une série de déploiements mis en place depuis 2010.

base

In the source, the word deployment in the context of a deployment of the banking 'socle'. The French word means foundation, so adapting this to the IT context may be translated as base. You could use system here, as in "deployment of the banking base (IT) system". Another possibility - baseware (see link) - is also used in I.T. to mean the baseware functions which are the logical entities that allow application components to present information to and gain input from a human user.
Note from asker:
Thank you! I found "baseware" in the Grand Dictionnaire, but could find no references to it in documents that had definitely been written in English originally, so I was dubious. You have eased my concerns with that link.

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "Thanks. I used "baseware" and the client seems happy with it. Although backoffice seems like it could be a possibility, that was aterm that came up (in English) repeatedly throughout the source text and I wanted to differentiate."

banking infrastructure / integrated banking solution

Both of these are quite general. But so, I think, is socle.

the core

it's the core of the system and it's about a ramp up of its deployment I think.

back-office

Déjà vu dans les projets d'infogérance offshore pour des banques françaises, mais le texte source est suffisamment vague pour qu'une question au client tente de lever le doute.

Le terme source de la question devrait plutôt être "socle bancaire"
