I'm pretty sure this means some combination of software and hardware, but I am translating a tender document that contains rather more technical IT jargon than I had realised and this is decidedly not my specialist area!

Comment: "Thanks. I used "baseware" and the client seems happy with it. Although backoffice seems like it could be a possibility, that was aterm that came up (in English) repeatedly throughout the source text and I wanted to differentiate."
