: disposed of with the regular household waste (collection) is the sort of thing I'd write in UK English. Garbage is also acceptable but sounds US to some people.

put in the trash
"dagrenovation" simply means the household trash being picked up by the garbage truck.

Put in the trash\" as opposed to e.g. in the \"chemical waste basket\", \"flushing in the toilet\", or driving it to the disposal site for non-degradable stuff etc.
WHAT is thrown away is really not that important here, it\'s HOW.

: Does it have to be by a pickup truck, why not the cleaning staff?

Bigger picture - the trcuk eventually comes to pick up your trash. I don't think the cleaning lady would drive to the land fill, do you? Anyway, the truck is not important, simply explanatory.

Seems to me that dagrenovation means daily removal vs. renovation meaning merely removal of trash.

Well, then (placed in the, or put out for) general waste disposal, rather than recycling or toxic waste disposal, or through the waste water collection system.
I have no idea what a stomipose is??
I\'m just curious, wherein lies the problem?

I must admit also that when I first glanced at your question I thought maybe daglig renovation was a plausible explanation, as contact lenses are usually removed and discarded on a daily basis, unless they are extended wear.

: I don't believe it's the contact lenses that are discarded on a daily basis, but rather the garbage (dagrenovation = regular garbage pick-up and necessarily on a daily basis.

discard via daily trash removal, either way you are discarding them daily

|
disagree |
pcovs
: No, you are not discarding them daily - only in the usual, daily trash. 'Daily' only refers to the garbage removal-in DANISH this is in 1 word, i.e. this definately belongs together! "...at bortskaffe kontaktlinserne dagligt..." says what you suggest.

Seems like an odd proposition, discard via trash removal, how else would you do it? I thought the emphasis was on daily.

dispose of in regular garbage
e.g dispose of the contact lenses in the regular garbage (for pisk-up)

Spelling error. Should of course read \"pick-up\" (not pisk-up)
