German to English Marketing Marketing
this is about dialogue marketing:

"Lückenlos erlebbare Qualität und Serviceorientierung erfordern eine neue Dimension der Konzeption und Umsetzung von kundenbezogenen Kommunikationsinstrumenten."

wie könnte man das im englischen schön umschreiben?

Discussion

Ramey Rieger (X) Nov 17, 2013:
We all suggest what we consider to be the best solution at the time we suggest it. Often, after viewing other suggestions, I see the lack in my own. Just as often, I wonder why another suggestion was selected when mine was more appropriate according to my understanding of the text and my deeply idiosyncratic language usage. In this case, there is little difference in that what you suggested and that what Sir Andrew suggested. His was obviously more appealing to the asker - ergo more approriate for the text.
Michael Martin, MA Nov 17, 2013:
Thanks, Ramey and Yorkshireman I am criticizing the decision, not objecting to it. Under our rules, asker calls the shots and I will continue to respect that.
Ramey Rieger (X) Nov 17, 2013:
Hi Michael Are you seriously objecting to your suggestion NOT being selected?
Yorkshireman Nov 17, 2013:
@Michael If it's marketing - it's more likely to be a tale of the "bazaar" :-)

Seriously, though

Tastes differ and we can't all be right all the time, now, can we. If the asker found this particular answer most helpful - not most correct or sounding most like marketing speak - it is exclusively his or her decision to take it.
Ramey Rieger (X) Nov 17, 2013:
Why's that?
Michael Martin, MA Nov 17, 2013:
This forum seems to be evolving into a tale of the bizarre..

seamless (non-interruptive) experience (of quality)

Example below:
"We believe the future of digital advertising will happen in feed and gallery formats that allow for a non-interruptive, seamless experience of quality branded content."
Peer comment(s):

agree philgoddard : Seamless is better than (and means the same as) non-interruptive in my opinion. But yes, you should just ignore "erlebbar".

Agree on all counts.
neutral Yorkshireman : I am almost certain that the client will come back and say the "erlebnis" aspect has disappeared if you leave it out. Michael, I was actually referring to Phil's comment and defending your use of the word. I use it in my answer as well.

I'd be happy to explain to the client that a more literal translation might result in very awkward English..//No problem, Yorkshireman!

coherent/cohesive - see below

Nearly as bumbling as the source text, but what can you do without cutting the half of it out?
Example sentence:

Attaining truly coherent/cohesive quality and service demands a new dimension in the concept and usage of customer related communication tools.

Explanation:
"Lückenlos erlebbare Qualität und Serviceorientierung erfordern eine neue Dimension der Konzeption und Umsetzung von kundenbezogenen Kommunikationsinstrumenten."

Giving customers a tangible experience of your business trumps all else and is the #1 driver of conversation

I read a salient post on twitter yesterday from Start Up Britain and felt compelled to sing the praises of those that give exceptional service, ‘Giving customers a tangible experience of your business trumps all else and is the #1 driver of conversation’

So here I am telling you all about the level of exceptional service experienced at our stay ...

The creation of a 360° quality and service-oriented experience

Something very similar to this recently went down very well with one of Germany’s biggest agencies.

"360°" and "ganzheitlich" Holistic (I shudder at the thought!!) are the most recent and frequently committed crimes in German marketing copy and should join Anspruch, anspruchsvoll and gestalten/Gestaltung on the blacklist.
Peer comment(s):

neutral Cilian O'Tuama : 360° might be relatively new. The others have been discussed/mentioned before in various postings/forums... Just words that can be difficult to translate. Not crimes. :-)
