I don't understand what they're trying to say after the semi-colon i.e. "una ciclistica e un assetto" - can someone please enlighten me? I'm having a bad day.

on this, but I have the feeling that there should be a comma instead of a semicolon (better still an "e" but than it would create a conflict with the following conjunction), that is

Per quanto riguarda la ciclistica, poche novità. Il telaio è quello della Fogarty Replica" con traliccio modificato e nuovi tiranti maggiorati da 12 mm e, ovviamente,telaietto ausiliario reggisella in alluminio.... ecc...

la ciclistica comprende anche le ruote
devo precisare che nella ciclistica sono comprese anche le ruote. Quindi forse andrebbe tradotto con frame and wheels.
In genere si fa distinzione fra motore, ciclistica, impianto frenante e design...
