Italian term

TAT

FVA Not for points Italian to English Medical Medical (general) Types of surgery
Hello,

I'm translating a nursing chart of the Dept. of Orthopaedics and Traumatology and in the list of surgeries, the acronym 'TAT' appears and then 'dx' 'sx' (which of course mean 'right' and 'left'). Does anyone know what type of surgery TAT stands for and if there's an English acronym for it please?

Thank you,
Salma

traslazione anteriore della tibia

Maybe this is what it stands for, not the type of surgery itself, but the condition the surgery is performed for.
Note from asker:
Yes, this is correct. I found this from a different source. Thank you.

neutral JudyC (meets criteria) : check wth the client if you can as it could also be a surgical procedure : trasposizione apofisi/tuberosità tibiale (tibial tubercle transfer, Fulkerson technique) http://www.medicitalia.it/consulti/archivio/158862-tat_sx_fa...
