Spanish term

valores mobiliarios

Spanish to English Law/Patents Law (general) HOMEWORK ASSSINGMENT
I've seen that "valores mobiliarios" can mean securities or something else like moveable real estate. However, in this instance I think it means moveable real estate. Any help is appreciated.

Context (Dominican):

Art. 221.

Proposed translations (English)

Movable real estate in the Caribbean There is Jim's US point which may be lost on others: motor vehicles count as movable real estate plus, in the Caribbean, there are chattel houses dating back to slave plantation days en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chattel_house. Note also in the UK 1. leaseholds which count as a hybrid chattel real and 2. the tax cases of ocean-going vessels and mobile gantry cranes for writing-down purposes.

@billh Not to freak you out, but there are also things such as tangible and intangible assets. :p
Billh May 10, 2013:
LOL moveable real estate is, I am afraid, a contradiction in terms.... Inmuebles here is real estate....
