actually, there is no such thing in Hebrew as סמכות בלתי חוזרת because סמכות is שם עצם and not שם פעולה and therefore cannot be revoked or otherwise. if you use the POA part, then you should use יפוי כוח בלתי חוזר. if you use the Authorization part, then the term would be הרשאה בלתי חוזרת. using סמכות is out of the question here and totally wrong!!!
Donn Hyman (X) Feb 23, 2013:
Gad, IMHO both translations suggested seem ok although personally I prefer הרשאה בלתי חוזרת

If you Google יפוי כל בלתי חוזר לפי סעיף 91 you will find many samples in Hebrew.

And this is section 91 91. Certification of Power of Attorney (Amendment: 5747)
A power of attorney given in Israel to an attorney to act within the scope of activities related to the professional services the attorney provides for his client, including but not limited to the receipt of money and other things on behalf of the client in connection with such a matter; shall require no other certification once the signature of the client on the power of attorney has been certified in writing by the attorney notwithstanding the provisions of any law.
Gad Kohenov (asker) Feb 23, 2013:
Don it's a heading It's a heading:

Irrevocable power of attorney
Pursuant to section 91 of the bar Association Law 5721-1961
Donn Hyman (X) Feb 20, 2013:
Gad,

can you kindly provide more context - what does the document deal with and more text - what comes after the words "irrevocable authority" ?
Rut Shaham Feb 19, 2013:
תמצא בהקשר הזה גם את הביטוי בלתי הדיר אם כי לטעמי בלתי חוזר עדיף

הרשאה בלתי חוזרת

although Authority translates to Hebrew as "סמכות", it is rather strange when attached to Irrevocable. it should be assumed that the author actually meant Authorization and not Authority.
Example sentence:

לשם ביצוע האמור לעיל הריני מעניק בזאת הרשאה בלתי חוזרת...
