It's just a "Community Hospital"? As to what I meant by a "shared facility" see http://www.uab.edu/bmsf/ and here http://microscopy.ucsd.edu/HTML Files/Neuroscience/Neuroscie... . Perhaps it's a publicity gimmick for commercial labs too. That's why I brought up my previous comment to Vladys:" needs and costs" But it's a community hospital! Thanks everybody!

Hopefully but here is what the Dictionary says:

“shared” is smth a bit queer, like in shared government коалиционное правительство, or shared ownership -shared own¦er|ship noun [mass noun] (in Britain) a system by which the occupier of a dwelling buys a proportion of the property and pays rent on the remainder, typically to a local authority or housing association

Vladys, Communal Facility would be Shared Facility? As in all costs (as well as uses) of the facility are shared by all health care institutions in the region?
