Elvise, ti si davez i to znas, ali u redu je.
It is just that on the "z" of "davez" and the "s" of "znas" there is a sign like the inverted French accent circonflex and these are pronounced something like "zh" and "sh" respectively.The word "davez" is not totally neutral and by a blood-minded person can be even taken as offensive, but if told with a laugh and in a funny way it is perfectly acceptable. It is not offensive in itself and I hope your Elvis will take it in good part. It is the best choice for "dork".

Elvise, ti si ...
I don't agree with the above translation, because "davez" means a boring and tedious person.
Dork = fool or idiot
fool = glupan, glup
idiot = idiot
My suggestion is:
a. Elvise, ti si glup/idiot, a to znas i sam, ali to je u redu.
b. Elvise, ti si glup/idiot, to znas i sam, ali to nema veze.

We should not only consult dictionaries, but listen to our common sense. I would NEVER advise you to say anybody that he is an idiot/glup as my colleague above. Both words are highly offensive. "Dork" has a much less offensive connotation than "idiot/glup". I therefore suggest that you use the word "davez".
