During the summer of 2012, '21' (link) will be transforming two of the ”signature" private dining rooms into a grand event space with coiffured ceilings and the sophistication guests have come to expect from this "iconic property".
My translation so far:
2012年の夏の間に、’21’ (Link)は ”自慢の" プライベートダイニング室のうちの２室を、コーファー式のパネル装飾があしらわれた天井や、お超しになるお客様がこの "類像的なプロパティ" から期待される洗練さを持ち合わせた壮大なイベント会場へと変貌を遂げさせます。

印象的な空間
1. Coffured ceiling と sophistication は性質が違いので、“と”で接続した和文では奇異に感じる。
2. その奇異な部分が主語と述語の間に入った、長くてすわりの悪い文章になってしまう。
そこで、「～coffured ceilings」までを一つとして、残りは
「この印象的な空間は、お越しになるお客様のご期待を裏切らない、洗練された場所となることでしょう。」
というような文章にしてはいかがでしょうか。
Signatureについては、また別にポストをされてはいかがですか? きっといろいろな意見がでると思いますよ。

| ネイティブの意見、とても参考になります。ありがとうございます。私が記した分だけを見ると"名門ホテル”という表現はとても良いと思いますが、原文全体をみるとこれはわりと新しい現代的なホテルのようです。日本人が“名門ホテル”と聞くと、どうしても歴史的のある伝統的なイメージが先に来てしまうところがあるので残念ですが他の表現を探したいと思います。 |

アイコン的な建造物
propertyはもちろんホテルあるいはその建物・施設・建造物を指しているのでしょう。
偶像的などとするとちょっとわかりにくくなると思われますので、わかりやすさ優先という視点では直訳的でもよいケースもあるかと思います。
