In many glass shops - in Tijuana and in Paris I've seen them - the public may sit around the artists blowing glass bubbles in order to arrive at final shapes. The Hot shop refers to a place of sort, where the heat is infernal and the ovens are open all time while customers observe the workers. There is no translation in Spanish, but you may describe it the way you want. Like I did. In Tijuana for instance the workers just call it "El Negocio" which stands for "The Store" just like if it would be another, like a butcher shop or the like. They call it so as opossed to "El taller" ("the workshop", which is behind a wall with no access to the public)
