Biotest HYCON® *Contact Slides* are used for microbial counts of bacteria, yeasts and moulds on surfaces. The agar container is individually packed and absolutely airtight, thus ruling out secondary contamination. The format of the contact slides is a further development of the microbial indicators successfully used in the HYCON® RCS air samplers. It was designed specifically for use in aseptic clean rooms and isolation areas. Contact slides have the following advantages over standard contact media:

Appropriate packaging

* Polystyrene box to resist temperature variation and impact damage
* Two pack sizes: 20 and 100 slides per box
* Sterile double pack of gamma-irradiated contact slides

Standard contact area of 25 cm²

* To meet official requirements (USP 29 and EP 4)
