personal liberty

As in "deprivation of personal liberty".

Libertad deambulatoria is the same as libertad ambulatoria. You can be deprived of these rights by the state (incarceration - first ref link), or as or collateral to a criminal act (kidnapping, armed robbery - second ref link).

Freedom of movement sounds good, but has been hijacked by the EU for the elimination of visa requirements (Spa: libre circulación - see Eur-lex at http://europa.eu.int/eur-lex/en/lif/ind/en_analytical_index_... and so cannot be used here.

Anything with "roaming" is not legal in this sense(and "roaming liberty" turns up nothing applicable in google).

The right to travel is part of, but only one part of, libertad deambulatoria. That would be more in line with the EU concept of "freedom of movement".

Hope that helps.

Deprivation of personal liberty shall not be imposed unless the juvenile is adjudicated of a serious act involving violence against another person or of persistence in committing other serious offences and unless there is no other appropriate response.

I found it in Google, but it is in PDF and I could not copy it.

It stated, from memory:

En primer lugar, la libertad deambulatoria incluye la salida y entrada al país y el desplazamiento dentro del país.

Basically, this is it.

Of the 563 hits with \"deambulatoria\", this is the one that has the definition to which I referred. Please read it.

\"Justification is a technical term with a different meaning in regard to Freedom of Movement to its meaning in regard to State Aid. Under the Freedom of Movement doctrine, a measure is “justified if”
- if is non-discriminatory in terms of nationality of a European citizen; or it is discriminatory but in a specific narrow set of circumstances (that aren’t relevant to this case).
- If it is imperative – if there is a pressing reason of public interest for its introduction
- If it is proportionate – it is effective and not excessive.\"

disagree zhdim : What? Your Spanish example is an internal constitutional matter, affirming what I said above. Your F'dom of Movement ex. is the EU term (intra-state), which in Span. is "libre circulación". You are comparing apples and oranges with your two texts.
