GED référent

French to English Tech/Engineering IT (Information Technology)
This is from a document about an information security system in a bank.

It is a series of guidelines and often directs the reader to the "la GED référent" for further information. For example: "Broyeur: il faut utiliser un modele référencé par la Direction des Achats (voir documents dans la GED référent)."

I'm assuming that GED is electronic document management, but I'm confused about the référent. If it was an adjective shouldn't it be feminine? Also, I understand GED to be a principle or a process, whereas "voir documents dans la GED référent" suggests perhaps some sort of repository. And even going with that meaning (repository) wouldn't it be one overall repository, whereas qualifying it with référent suggests that there is more than one.

Any concrete suggestions on how to translate this? Thanks in advance.
