Heel Deux significations de "heel" qui pourraient correspondre :

11. the lower end of any of various more or less vertical objects, as rafters, spars, or the sternposts of vessels.
12. Nautical.
a. the after end of a keel.
b. the inner end of a bowsprit or jib boom.

C'est un poids attaché à ce "talon", quel qu'il soit. Il existe des "heel weights" pour clubs de golf ("A small piece of tungsten or plastic-coated lead affixed to the heel of a club to help counteract slice"), mais on peut sûrement en avoir pour tout ce qui peut s'appeler "heel".
