IMHO, "performance" ne convient pas:
- le potentiel, c'est la capacité de (faire, durer...);
- la performance, c'est la mise en oeuvre de ce potentiel.
Je propose donc "capacity".

Remember that you must have a Right side engine cover spare gasket and a .... whenever I can: I just had the head and piston rings refurbished like new, ... I don't want to stop riding because of shortage of spare parts. ...
