Just a note about the typos is this text:

1. "May be" should be "Maybe" (one word).

2. "Support stuff" looks like it should actually be "support staff."

Not Canada! Hi again, Mohamed. The two terms are used interchangeably but for us in the US, Canada is abroad but not overseas. It depends on the rest of the context but I will be careful about using في الخارج if the context came from an American source.

الخارج الزملاء الكرام، أصل الكلمة إنجليزية بدأ إستخدامها في القرن السادس عشر، كون المملكة المتحدة جزيرة واطلقت لتمييز البلدان التي تقع "خارج المملكة "ولا يتسنى بلوغها إلا عبر السفر بحرا، بإعتبار أن السفن كانت الوسيلة الوحيدة عندئذ للنقل.
ولأن مدعاة تلك التسمية وضروراتها لم تعد قائمة من مناح مختلفة، أصبح المصطلح يستخدم للإشارة إلى "الخارج" وحسب. سواء في إنجليزية المملكة المتحدة أو سواها.

Lamis But even if it was USA, بالخارج still apllies as it includes all other countries, whether they are actually overseas, or just abroad.

Country You are right, Mohamed if this is from Australia but I doubt that it is. The asker can help by listing the country where this text came from. If it is the USA, then it can't be في الخارج

In Australia In Australia, "abroad" is mostly replaced by "overseas" for the obvious reason, which is that every other country is literally overseas. But seriously, when does anybody refer to another country in Arabic as ما وراء البحار anymore?

لماذا وراء البحار وليس في الخارج في الشركات العالمية هناك عدة حزم زمنية للعمل فعندما نطلب من أحد مساعدتنا في الليل نطلب في أوربا الدعم من فريق ما وراء البحار لأنه + 6

في الخارج يمكن أن يعني أية دولة في الشمال والجنوب أيضًا
