Sternebene

German to English Tech/Engineering Engineering (general)
I am doing a translation about an artistic dynamic wall installation with vier Ebenen ink. Sternebene. I have decided that ebenen are levels but I have no idea about Sternebene. I apologise in advance if this an elementary question but I cannot find help anywhere and the dictionaries at my disposal are mute on this point. Thanks for your help

A couple of possibilities: I won't post these as answers because of the paucity of context and your prior decision that 'Ebene' must be translated as 'level'.

you are absolutely right. It is more or less impossible to say what this is without a picture. The only thing I can say is these ebene move in opposite directions to each other. I will try to get more information.

More info needed Are you able to post a picture of this installation?
Maybe "Ebene" can be translated with "panel" since it's an artistic installation
