There is no offense. Claudia, you did not offend anyone, least of all me. Many people post all kinds of things on KudoZ that don't belong, and people often answer such postings. I am just suggesting an alternative that would preserve the purpose for which KudoZ stands, namely a tool for terms, and still provide you with what you need. As I said, many of us (at least those with Bibles that have this verse) will be happy to help. Yours is not the first sentence posted, and will not be the last. I post a similar discussion entry for every similar question I spot. It is my special treat of the day, like Key lime ice cream in a hot Houston afternoon.

Liliane,I am sorry if your Bible does not have it. Mine does (Song of Songs, aslo called Song of Solomon or Canticle of Canticles). Not to worry. If people agreed on what's in the Bible, life would be a lot less interesting.

I am sorry I didn't mean to offend and I had no idea that such a posting would break any rule (the phrase was translated more than once in proz.com, in Arabic and not only, so I can't see why would it break any rule now). Why should I privately communicate with an En-Ara translator? I am sorry I simply don't get it.
Liliane, you might be right, and I apologize in this case. I know the quote is from "The song of Solomon 2:16" http://www.mlbible.com/songs/2-16.htm here is where I found it, don't know much about the context, so if it' not Bible then I'm sorry - it's "Other"...
Fuad, if this is the first sentence translated in kudoz, I 'll eat it.
I answer a lot of sentence-postings when I understand that simple word-by-word translation could and would change the whole meaning of the sentence or phrase. Anyhow, when you ask a question (in kudoz) the indication of the field is first: "Term or phrase" and just after it says "one term at a time ..."
Apologizes again for any inconvenient.
