Swedish term

ge järnet

Swedish to English Other Idioms / Maxims / Sayings Tourist brochure
This is the name of an exhibition at an old ironworks - so I need a bit of a play on words. Any suggestions?

Maybe...

disagree Janis Abens : "hard as steel" would be good if it was being held at another venue, perhaps...

Another option.
I am afraid the pun is lost in translation.

In more motor oriented terms...;))

neutral asptech : that's "blyfoten" in Swedish, not iron or steel ...

I´m Swedish, Asptech, and where I come from (Stockholm) to "ge järnet" means exactly that. Of course there may be other similar, regional terms such as Blyfoten, even though I´ve never heard that particular one.

give it all you've got

The Swedish expression "ge järnet" has nothing to do with the iron and steel industry. It is sports jargon for cheering somebody (or yourself) on.

Would "put in a bit of steel" do? Or even worse: "Steel yourself and give 'em hell"?
Note from asker:
Yes I know - but the problem is that the exhibition is being held at an old ironworks - hence the pun!!!
