Italian to English Tech/Engineering Mechanics / Mech Engineering manuale macchina rotocalco
How can I translate "serie"? In the source text there is"serie" but it could be also "linea". What about "product line"? So the result would be "A.C. motors drives: XY product line ZZ".

DRIVE Drive is usually considered the exact translation for "trasmissione" in Italian. In this sense it is a product.

ABOUT ENGINE AND MOTOR A pair colleague disagreed with my answer, because I had used the term engine. I would like to underline that English tend to use engine for piston, gas or steam engines. The Americans and Germans tend to use motor for these. But they can be interchangeable. If it is electric then motor is used on both sides of the Atlantic.
From the context given, the decision between engine and motor is still open question.
