Spanish term
reservas o legitimas
Spanish to English
Law/Patents
Law (general)
from a will
A clause from a will:
I understand 'legitimas' to be entitlements (parts of the will) which by law should go to certain persons, but I am not sure about 'reservas'.
I am also not totally sure about 'complemento' in this case - I think it means 'given' because it refers to non-monetary components of the will, which the law may require to be given (rather than paid) to certain persons.
Thanks for any suggestions!
