At Ullevål University Hospital in Oslo the former "Serviceavdelingen" ("Service Department") has been divided in two. The department responsible for internal and external transportation is called "Portør og Transportavdelingen".

Yes Department of Transport (DoT) is a gov. department - so it could be misleading, I agree.
Transport Office does not sound un-English IMO
There are dispatch offices, freight offices, mail offices (also transport related), and so on.

Orderlies move patients around but they also perform all manner of physical labor. Patient Transfer Department is a more euphemistic variant. There may be other terms - if you're not in a hurry wait for more suggestions.

Department of Transport sounds like UK Government. Transport Office sounds very un-English.
