German term

Zeuge gibt nach WD / WE an:

German to English Law/Patents Law (general)
From Austrian depositions dated 1949. Some say WD some say WE. Does anyone know these abbreviations?

have you got any context - e.g. a sentence where they occur?

WE is the Austrian abbreviation for "Wahrheitserinnerung"

This means the judge/court reminds the witness (in expressis verbis) that he/she has to tell the truth.

I have no idea what WD might be, (WE is still in use in Austrian legal language nowadays), I have, however, never encountered WD.
