(also: tiebreaker) – Employed when a set becomes tied at 6 games. A tie-break is generally played to seven points, but because it too must be won by at least two points, it may be extended.

tie-break是网球比赛中的术语,即通常所说的“抢七局”,指的是在网球正规赛之外的特殊比赛,在双方进行到6-6时,利用抢七局来决定胜负,谁先达到7分者获胜,若一方达到7分但没领先两分以上,则继续比赛直到一方以2分胜出为止。Tie-break也可写作tie-breaker
