Spanish term

cursar

Spanish to English Medical Medical: Pharmaceuticals
I haven't seen this term used in a medical context before, but when I look it up in google I find thousands of examples:

I think that maybe 'presents with' or 'appears' or 'brings about' might work here, or maybe "is characterized by" but I don't want to just guess. What's the most exact translation of this Spanish term in this context?

Gracias como siempre por su amable ayuda.

Hi Joseph. Either "presents with" or "is characterized by" would work depending on the context.
