This two-day course is designed for the novice or new non-engineer employee, but is also a valuable refresher course for experienced agents. With the use of lecture, questions and answers, exercise methods, graphic illustrations and transparencies, students will learn how to use engineering equipment such as an engineering scale and protractor; basic skills in reading and interpreting information contained on engineering plans; and how to read, understand and plot simple descriptions using the most common methods of property descriptions.
Students should bring mechanical pencils and a hand held calculator. Engineering tools (engineering scale, protractor, straight edge & triangle) will be provided by IRWA.
Reference material: Principles of Right of Way textbook (included in tuition fee). Figures and page numbers in the course manual are tied in with figures and page numbers in the Principles of Right of Way textbook.

: Nah, that is not what is meant here. I think that real estate engineering is quite correct. It's like "corporate engineering". It's in the same order of idea.
