i.O. Test As far as I can tell from the documents I have, these "i.O." tests are used as reference tests in which whatever is being tested is found to be o.k. These tests are then compared to tests in which certain errors are simulated to find out if a malfunctioning part is still within certain tolerances.

Without context it is pretty hard to give a definitive answer.
You get 145,000 hits for 'ok test' if you limit the search to just English sites.
There is also such as thing as a 'Go/No-go test' which classifies a part as either good or bad/ok - not ok.
