根據字典，lamella 共有「薄板、薄層、薄片」等字義：

所以猜想「兰美拉」分离器一詞，可能是譯者一時找不到字義，而只翻出 lamella 的音。除非此一譯法已普遍被接受，建議不要沿用。

另外，Separator 也很多人翻為分離器。(只是看相片，還滿大的一部機器，翻成分離機應該無妨。)
