German term

Brennfolie

German to English Tech/Engineering Computers (general)
This part of my text is about a group activity to be carried out in a sort of seminar. The term appears together with other computer terms in a list. I cannot think of anything that fits this context. Does anyone have an idea?

Thanks!

printable transperancy

These are the transperancies on which anything can be printed by a printing or copying machine. These are thicker than normal transperancies, on which you can only write or draw by hand. Normal transperancies melt in a printing machine. However, they are also called as thin fire paper in true technical sense.

CD/DVD labels

The German term does not seem to be especially common in this context on the Web. Given the list and the proximate items, I'd be inclined to think of (blank) user-printable, self-adhesive labels for CDs and DVDs.

Thanks. The site you referenced is for CD/DVD sleeves, which are not the same as labels, but that may be the correct meaning (if you buy discs on spindles, you need something to put the discs in after they are burned). What do you think?

i think they actually mean "overheadfolien", i.e. (printable) transparencies
