I know what this means, but I can't think of the right word in English. This is an article about a business that was founded in 1935, but it was 第二創業 (re-established? re-vamped? had an image makeover?) three years ago and since then has been doing lots of new things and generally promoting itself as a modern, cutting edge kind of company.

If it is used as 第二創業期 the first expression is often used. The second is more casual, but both are used when the word have to be a noun.
