French term

admise au passif

French to English Law/Patents Accounting
I'm unsure as to the meaning of "admise au passif". I translated "produit au passif d'XXX pour X Euros" as "lodged a claim against XXX for X Euros" earlier, but I'm not sure. Does it have something to do with inclusion in the liabilities of the company?

Thank you
