caseyさん、Krzysztof さん、お世話になります。

caseyさんが提案してくださった、monitoring supplier's situation がぴったりくるように思いました。
Krzysztof さん、evaluatio and rating という項目がこの後続きます。情報が少なくてすみませんでした。

keep track of the situation

This is how I'd translate it.

I was looking at the sentence, not the heading. In the heading I'd say "Keeping track of (the) supplier's situation."

Or maybe even "Keeping track of supplier's ability to deliver."

Alternatively, "Monitoring supplier's situation."

agree Yumico Tanaka (X) : What about the word 購入先の? My bad, you are right, it was not in the question.

Oops. I was looking at the sentence, not the heading. //No, you're right. That changes the tense of the verb. Thanks for pointing it out.

Japanese term (edited): 購入先の実態把握

supplier evaluation

今回も「実態把握」より「購入先の実態把握」を訳せばどうですか。そうしたら、他の訳(supplier status analysisなど)もいくつか考えられます。
Peer comment(s):

agree casey : This probably is more appropriate as the heading.

Thanks! I'm going through a "how can I make my translations less literal and more beautiful?" phase and it seems I'm making some progress :)
