It's not actually removing the commute but making it easier/more convenient.

Some people have suggested removing "burden," but I still think it sounds better with it. I don't consider commuting, i.e. going from point A to point B, to be necessarily a bad thing, so I think it's necessary to indicate what exactly you are alleviating.

: "Commutation" is almost never used in the context of traffic. It sounds odd, and I think most people would be a little puzzled. "Commute" is the right word. It's also shorter.
