A workers’ compensation leave of absence may be granted to an employee who is temporarily totally disabled from working due to ”work-related” injury or illness. The term “work-related” injury is defined by state law. [...] Workers’ compensation leaves of absence will run concurrently with Family & Medical Leave Act (“FMLA”) leaves of absence for employees with a FMLA qualifying health condition (refer to Family & Medical Leave of Absence Policy in this Chapter).
