English term

Eel in black bean sauce on boiled rice

Non-PRO English to Chinese Other Cooking / Culinary Chinese dish
Hi,

There was a four-character term on the menu:
1. (I forget)
2. 汁 (shi-2, juice, presumably sauce here)
3. 鳗 (man-2) (I may be wrong about this, but I do remember it has “fish” on the left hand side)
4. 饭 (fan-4)

So the term would look something like (?)汁(?)饭, probably (?)汁鳗饭.

All the best,

Simon

agree Alvin Liu : I am not sure whether 豆豉 should be called "black bean", but 豆豉 is always in black. Anyway, I agree with the translation 豉汁鳗鱼饭.
