French term

implantation

French to English Marketing Retail Specialized stores
And if you are a "retail" specialist out there, be my guest!
Proposed translations (English)
3 shelf-space allocation
3 (product) positioning
3 (product) layout

shelf-space allocation

If you know this has to do with product positioning on shelf, then the appropriate marketing terminology would be "shelf-space allocation", for which typically a slotting arrangement/contract is negotiated with a slotting fee. this is quite common (and contentious) in the retail world.

Thanks suezen. I meant the "physical" position of the product in the store. Would "positioning" still work here?
