French term
à la demande
French to English
Bus/Financial
Tourism & Travel
This seemingly obvious phrase comes in a handbook describing how to deal with different types of air ticket sales. "à la demande" it seems is different from selling simple tickets across the counter, I wonder if there is a "package" connotation? Any help gratefully accepted!

"custom travel package"
A custom travel package may be prepared on demand (in response to a specific customer request);
ou alors "tailor-made package" dans le sens où ça répond plus à des besoins précis du client.
Good luck,

Comment: "Thank you Zi_neb, I've used "package", it being customised into a package rather than a single ticket sale"
